Produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest

Synthesise information and arguments from a number of sources

Grammar

Communicate with reasonable accuracy in familiar contexts

Express yourself despite making grammatical errors

Use a limited range of tenses and expressions

Have good grammatical control of a wide range of tenses and expressions, though with some noticeable mother tongue influence
